IPL Handles

Perfect Skn IPL system has 3 handles. These handles can last indefinitely (100,000 shots) however for best results - replace them after 20,000 shots

The handles come in different crystal sizes depending on the treatment you are giving e.g. for hair removal the crystal which is held in the handle is a medium/large size to enable you to work on the upper lip and chin area, underarm, bikini and finally leg area without having to change the size of the crystal.  

The crystal in the handle is the part that delivers the ‘light’ to the skin. The skin rejuvenation handle has a small crystal size in order that it can deliver light to the face and neck area easily and is comfortable for the client. Hence the reason for the difference in prices between the two handles as you can see below:

IPL Eyewear

Perfect Skn IPL stock two types of goggles. The main goggles are for the operator to wear and these are expensive due to the quality and efficiency of visibility. It is extremely important for the operator to see the area she is working on easily, ensuring the best treatment. Goggles are advisable for the client to wear and our regular goggles provide adequate protection.

IPL Speedlight Eyewear

These are worn by the operator and allow hairs to be easily seen. Perfect Skn recommends these goggles be worn when operating any IPL system. These goggles are of high quality and are easy to wear. The eye protection area of the goggles has a camera like shutter effect and will close instantly when the flash is emitted from the IPL lamp. Once you have used these goggles to do an IPL treatment, you will be addicted to them!

IPL Regular Goggles
Both the operator and client can wear these goggles. IPL is eyewear is slightly different to that required for laser treatments and therefore eyewear does not require the same strict measures as laser treatment requires, but it is still highly recommended that eyewear is worn during the procedure. Our regular goggles are excellent, easy to wear and indeed can be worn by both client and operator.

IPL Gels and Purified Waters

Gel

Coupling Gel must be used in conjunction with IPL treatments to allow the light from the crystal to absorb easily into skin. The Gel also helps moisturise client’s skin and in some cases, keep the skin cool and comfortable especially when working on delicate areas of the body. IPL Gel is Clear, high viscosity coupling Gel suitable for IPL and Laser and is Hypoallergenic and non-irritating. Gel is supplied in a 5 litre /5Kg container with 250ml reusable bottle for ease of use.

Purified Water

Purified water is for use with IPL and Nd Yag Laser machines. The water should be changed in both these machines every number of weeks. Water levels must be checked on these machines in order that the machines are keep cool and working perfectly. Normal water is unsuitable for these machines and can cause huge problems if used. Many machines have water-cooling systems that require water frequently. (Minimum order 6 - plus carriage @ £5.95) For use with IPL and other systems

Laser Treatment Eyewear

Enough stress cannot be placed upon the correct eyewear for laser treatments. Therefore we supply the highest quality eyewear to protect your eyes. If in doubt about the eyewear you have please check the nm (nano meters) of the machine you are using and ensure your glasses cover all wavelengths so that you are protected properly.

Hydrogel Pads

Suitable for use with both laser and IPL systems. LaserAid Hydrogel pads offer:

• Improved cooling
• Pain relief
• Reduction in redness/erythema
• Prevent plume.

Simply cool in the fridge then apply to the area to be treated. Treat directly through the hydrogel pad without the need for additional cooling or Gels. Hydrogel Pads are ideal to use in treatments such as tattoo removal and skin resurfacing and are a real aid to using lasers.

Client Eye Care

Disposable eye patches for use with laser, IPL and LED. Using disposable eye pads is sometimes an easier option rather than goggles for the client and are great to use when doing lots of treatments as it makes the job quicker and safer due to the fact that you are using disposables.

Disposable eye patches are simple and quick to use, latex free and hypoallergenic.
